We (E & T) met online in 1999, fell in love and ran away to Jamaica
to get married in November 2000. A few years go by as we are working for the man, living the
life of newlyweds, spending time with Tina’s 2 children from her previous
marriage…….
9/11/2001 – Life in the US changed as did we. Several months after the attack on the US, we
both become firefighters with a local volunteer fire department… and life for
us took on new meanings. We both dove into the fire service head strong and
loved every minute of it.
Cut to today……… After
a career ending injury Evan became a stay at home dad and Tina continued
working in the fire service…..
Our Older 2 – We have Mr. Football, our 18 year old who will
be graduating Spring 2013 and heading to college in the fall hopefully to
continue his passion of playing football while working on a History Degree….. Then we have our Ms. Sweets who is 16 and
loving life with her friends and not a fan of RV’ing at all. As we move forward to hit the road, one of
these will be away at college and the other will stay with her dad as she is
only 2 years from graduating and not interested in a life on the road.
Enter the babies….. J-Man (now 7) was brought into our lives
when he was 9 months old and we have never been the same. His adoption was finalized almost a year to
the day he arrived in our arms……. E-Diva (now 2) came along a few years later & turned us into her slaves with her first breath... Her adoption final also took place right at a year to her joining us….
So many ask us, why do we want to go on the road? WHY NOT??????????
We have both loved to travel but never had the means to do
so. During the years the older 2 kids were growing up, we did not have the
money or time to go on real vacations or take the kids to places we have always
wanted to visit. We regret not being able to do so when Mr. Football & Ms.
Sweets were younger…….
Now we have the opportunity to show J-Man & E-Diva the
sights and sounds of the US and plan to do just that....... as well as fulfill some of our own bucket list items.....
Follow along with us as we rev up our adventure by shedding our "stuff", telling our family (eeeek), and hitting the road………..
Rolling Robins......
